1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts


1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
8 ounces sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Mix topping ingredients together and set aside
  3. Add margarine and sugar to a mixing bowl and cream well
  4. Add the eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Beat well
  5. Sift dry ingredients together
  6. Add dry ingredients and mix well
  7. Put half of the batter in a tube pan
  8. Add half of the topping
  9. Add remaining batter and topping
  10. Bake 45-55 minutes

Makes 1 cake (tube pan)
